How Subject Line Actually Matters While Sending an Email

Email Subject lines are like gateway that decides the immediate action of your recipients. While sending a mail, the first impression we get is from Subject Line, when the recipients found it’s attractive and relevant they ready to view the mail quickly once it is landed.

When it comes to sending an important email, whether it be to one person or a mass marketing communication, the key to success is creating engaging content, the aim is to achieve a high open rate and ideally a high click rate, the high open rates will happen only when the subject line attractable.

Using an attention-grabbing subject line is always one of the best ways to achieve high email engagements levels.




o   Try asking a question that will make them want to find our more.

o   Avoid using special characters in bulk emailing

o   Avoid writing an email subject line with all CAPS, its digital equivalent of yelling, which is kind of rude.

o   Keep the Subject line short, there are high chance of mail opening from the mobile, however we have conscious on having our mail or template mobile friendly we forget about the subject line, in mobile it shows only 20 to 30 character, if you want your subject line to be viewable, keep it short.

o   Make your subject line more relevant to your mail content and don’t express completely what the content has.

o   A perfect subject line should contain only 4 to 6 words with 30 to 40 characters.
